Bleeding Hearts are a nostalgic plant for many people, as they are an old fashioned perennial that is long lived, and many can reflect on seeing them in there mothers and grandmothers gardens.

Valentine Bleeding heart is similar to the traditional Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts, however the blooms are a true deep red color. Like all other old fashioned bleeding hearts this variety will also go dormant in Mid-summer, but will return again the following Spring.
