Don’t let the name of this hosta scare you away from adding it to your collection. Hosta to-ku-dama flavo-cir-ci-nalis is a true beauty in terms of large leaved hostas. This hosta forms a low growing mound about 18″ tall, but can spread about 3-4′ wide. Tokudama Flavocircinalis is an old Japanese cultivar that has been adorned by American gardeners for years. With large 4-7″ heavily corrugated leaves it will add texture and color, as the leaves feature a blue center surrounded by green/yellow margins.
