Hens & Chicks are the perfect plant for full sun locations with dry soil. The Tip Top variety will form a large rosettes, the “hens,” of sharply pointed, silvery green foliage that is flushed with red/purple tips. This color may vary from season to season. The large rosettes will grow small rosettes the “chicks” that can easily be divided and planted elsewhere. Hens & Chicks are deer resistant and work perfect as a border plant or in a rock garden.
