The Marquette Blue Grape is a very cold hardy variety that produces grapes perfect for making red wine. Wine produced from the Marquette Grape offers pronounced tannins that have notes of cherry, spices and black pepper. These vines are grown best when the strongest cane is chosen and attached to a strong stake or fence and suckers are kept at a minimum.
